Terms of Service

Published · Updated

These terms are an agreement between you (and the business you act for) and VINNYROO LLC ("we"), which runs Smallwright and its products, including Grommetbook. By connecting a product to your AI assistant, signing in or subscribing, you accept them. In short: you own your data, you're responsible for what you and your assistant do with the product and for checking quotes before you send them, you can cancel any time, and our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

1. The service

Each product is software you use through an AI assistant connected to our MCP server, plus a read-only web viewer. Features are described on each product's site; we may improve or change them, and we'll give notice in the changelog before removing a paid feature.

2. Accounts

You sign in with an emailed link. Keep access to that mailbox secure; anything done through an assistant you connected is treated as done by you. A shop's owner can add and remove teammates and is responsible for who they add. You must be at least 18 and able to act for your business.

3. Your AI assistant

Your assistant (for example Claude or ChatGPT) is provided by a third party under its own terms; we don't control it. The product computes prices and records from the data you or your assistant provide; you are responsible for that data, for reviewing Quotes, prices, taxes and invoices before relying on them, and for disconnecting any assistant you no longer trust.

4. Trials, plans and billing

New accounts get a free trial (14 days for Grommetbook) without a card. After it, changes pause until you subscribe; reading and export keep working. Subscriptions are billed in advance in US dollars, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices exclude taxes. You can cancel any time from the viewer's Billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period, and we don't refund partial periods except where the law requires. We'll give at least 30 days' notice of a price change, which applies from your next renewal.

5. Your data

You own the data you put in. You give us permission to host, process and display it only to provide and support the service. You can export it at any time and ask us to delete it (see the Privacy Policy). If you store other people's personal data (such as your customers'), you're responsible for having the right to do so.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to break the law, send spam, store content you have no right to, probe or overload it beyond the published limits, access other accounts, or resell it without our written agreement. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

7. Availability

We work to keep the service running but provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. Fair-use limits are listed in each product's docs.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses (including lost profits, lost revenue or underpriced jobs), and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account (email support@smallwright.com from the owner's address; done within 30 days). We can end the service for you with 30 days' notice (or immediately for a serious breach of section 6); if we discontinue a product, we'll give at least 30 days' notice, refund any unused prepaid period, and keep export available until it closes.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above changes and material changes are listed in the changelog at least 14 days before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the US state in which VINNYROO LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Contact: support@smallwright.com.
